Toronto Juniors Ultimate

Ultimate is a sport on the rise in the youth ranks and TUC is proud to support local high school and Junior leagues and events. In the summertime, TUC runs the TJSL and in the winter our Catch the Spirit High School Tournament. We also do our best to attend local school events, like the TDSB and YRDSB school championships, or support local school tournaments with prizing. We do offer clinics to schools as well.

Junior players must have a parent or guardian sign the TUC Junior Waiver form and submit it to TUC, to be eligible to play. A new revised 2010 Junior Waiver must be completed legibly and submitted to TUC, for any Junior players joining TUC after June 22, 2010.

Furthermore, TUC has a Juniors Participation Policy that must be adhered to by all Juniors.

Toronto Juniors Ultimate Facebook Group

We have a facebook group page specifically for Juniors playing Ultimate in the GTA! This page is run by Juniors, for Juniors, and it's a forum to gossip about the latest Ultimate news or get updates on Juniors Ultimate events in Toronto. Check it out and join up now! Ultimate Players Age 15-18

This is the age group for which we offer TJSL. In 2010 we will have regionalized fields and leagues. Click here for more details. Also, interested players aged 15-18 can try out for a Juniors Touring team (high level juniors), click here for more details.

Ages 14 and Under - Open House

On Saturday June 12, 2010, 11am to 1pm, at Sunnybrook Park TUC we will host our 2nd Annual Juniors Open House where kids of all ages came to learn about Ultimate Frisbee. We work with youth and parents to teach:

• how to properly throw and catch an ultimate frisbee
• the simple rules of the game
• the most important aspect of Ultimate, the Spirit of the Game, which encrouages players to self-referee and play with true sportsmanship and respect

This Open House is geared towards youth ages 8 to 14. No experience necessary.

Discs and School Needs

If schools are seeking discs, we urge them to contact us as we can offer disc specials to high schools, and for elementary school we donate discs as well (dependent on availability). All TUC discs are standard approved Ultimate discs. If a school or parent purchases discs, whether with TUC or not, make sure that they are standard UPA approved 175 gram discs! Sadly schools often end up with poor quality discs. View our TUC Shop to see the brands we carry and recommend.

Toronto Juniors Summer League (TJSL)
