2008 Summer League Playoffs

All playoff games will take place at beautiful Sunnybrook Park. Monday and Tuesday night teams play on Sat, Sep 6 and Wednesday and Thursday night teams play on Sat, Sep 13. The first game will be played at 8am and the last game will conclude by 8pm.

Registration

The deadline to register your team is Wed, Sep 3. A reminder to teams that if you wish to participate in the playoffs, have a full roster! If you cannot field a proper team or do not wish to participate, then simply do not register your team.

In order for any player on your team to be eligible for playoffs, they must be a TUC member and listed on your roster as a ‘regular player’(or captain/coach). Furthermore, they must have played a minimum of 5 summer league games with their respective teams. We may allow recreational teams to pick up players, so long as they are registered TUC members and it is agreed upon by both team captains. However, the more competitive teams are required to play with their accurate rosters.

To register your team for the Summer League Playoffs

  1. Log into the website
  2. Click on “My Games”
  3. Click on “List Events”
  4. Under One-time Team Event Registrations, click on “Summer League Playoffs Registration”.
  5. Follow the instructions

You must have registered a 2008 Summer League team in order to register any team for the playoffs. If you have not, you will receive the error message “You may not register for this event until you have registered and paid for one of the prerequisites listed above.” In this case, either have the person who initially registered the summer league team register for the playoffs. If this is not possible, contact events@tuc.org or call the TUC office at 416-426-7175 for assistance.

Seeding, Pools and Schedules

Teams are seeded based on their Summer League Standings. Tiers containing up to 8 teams will be formed. The top tiers will consist of teams from the Competitive division and the lower tiers will combine East and West division teams. Further details to come…
