2011 Toronto Junior's Summer League Championships

The Toronto Junior’s Summer League finished off another successful season with its playoffs on Thursday August 25th at Downsview Park. The year’s playoffs featured over 60 participants from the 4 TJSL divisions (Northeast, Southeast, Northwest and Southwest) in what turned out to be an excellent evening of highly spirited and competitive ultimate.

The semi finals saw Team Jethro (TJSL Northeast) edged out TJSL Southwest in a 8-7 victory, while Team Brooksie (TJSL Northwest) managed a thrilling 7-6 universe point victory over last year’s defending champs Beast (TJSL Southeast - though last year the division was known as TJSL East) in the other semi final match.

Team Brooksie then went on to defeat Team Jethro in the finals to take home the 2011 TJSL Championships. Congratulations go out to Team Brooksie , the 2011 TJSL Playoff Champions.
