The agenda for the special meeting is to approve 2 sets of financial statements, as these were not available for approval at the 2014 Annual General Meeting. See the 2014 AGM Minutes and 2014 Finance Report for further details. The meeting will also include an opportunity for TUC members to voice any concerns and/or share their thoughts on strategic priorities for the Club. There may be additional reports or announcements from the Club, to be announced at a later date.
A motion (special resolution) will be made as follows at the meeting: Motion to approve the financial statements as presented for the "stump year" reporting period (January 1, 2013 through March 31, 2013) and the last fiscal year reporting period (April 1, 2013 through March 31, 2014).
Date: Saturday, September 6, 2014
Time: 7:00pm - 9:00pm
Location: Sunnybrook Park, 1132 Leslie Street, Sports Field Pavilion. The pavilion is the white building that is adjacent to the north cricket field and is where the public washrooms are located. The meeting room is on the main floor of the building.
Transit/Parking: Parking is available in the two lots that are on the west side of the building, as well as the far east parking lot. One of several buses can be taken to the intersection of Eglinton and Leslie and then it is a bit of a walk to the upper sports field and the pavilion. Driving is recommended. It is our hope that attendees will already be at the sports field for Playoffs and therefore are not inconvenienced.
Note you must be a current TUC member in order to attend. Please also note that Intro members do not have voting rights at this meeting, but are welcome to attend. All valid TUC members have the right to vote by proxy (per Section 14.4 or 14.5 of the TUC Bylaws). Please plan on joining us on Sept 6!
