Our first tie of the season! Parity has arrived! Dylan does a nice Denton impression subbing in with 6As and Hayden grabs 4D’s, while on the other side Jenny holds it down with 4Gs. Hitchhuckers able to hold on in this one after only scoring 3 times in their last 13 possessions!?

Big game from Angela Lei (5Gs/3Ds!) leads the way for the ISBeN upset. While TamMatt had a slow start, they spread goals around with Gary leading the charge in the second half. Shout out to T/M for getting parity in their passes!

The #1 (tied) and #3 leading goal scorers in the league once again carry the mail for ISBeN as they cover the spread. Maggie with 9G (most this week), and Cielle with 4G, and Winnie puts down his best game of the season leading the way on both ends with 5As and 4Ds. On the other side, Jamie HF also puts down a ridiculous stat line for BriTangica. And shout out to BOTH teams for parity in passing.

Loat edges Sherriff 5-4 on As. To be clear, Sherriff also dropped 4 2As in there, but the bet was for A's only, kids, not 2A's.

Hitchhuckers (-3.5) vs Zune (Score: 18-15)
Once AGAIN, Zune loses but manages to beat the spread! How many close losses can one squad have?? Brandon with a nice game, but Zune still winless. Yubai once again leads the way for the Huckers (7As most this week), and newcomer Hannah Huxter (you can’t just say “Hannah”) chips in with 4As and 3 2As, while Daniel Q gets 4 Ds.

UNDER (total was 233)

Hairy Peter (-2.5) vs Cat/Hat (Score: 14-11)
Another low scoring loss for the Cat Hatters as the Jaymber of Secrets JUST covers the spread. The game came down to the last 4 possessions where HPJS scored on all 4, whereas Cat/Hat only scored once. Shout out to Cat/Hat for parity on passes.

Steinberg edged Vanessa 3-2 on Gs. On a side note, Steinberg also had 7 TAs. Is that second part at all related to the bonus bet? Nope. I just believe in balanced reporting

FaulkenHoeit (-2.5) vs TamMatt (Score: 26-15)
It’s feast or famine with FaulkHo this season as they either win big, or lose big. Unfortunately for Chi/Matt, this week was a “Win Big” week as 451 covers with an 11 point win. Brandon with 6Gs, Caro with 6As and Alyne with 5Ds (most this week)! Shout out to Chi/Matt for parity in passes.

Martgaret Catwood (-0.5) vs Kyraous George (Score: 18-21)
In the only outright “upset” of the week (if you can call it that with a -0.5 spread), K-George gets back to .500 on the season with a dominant second half scoring on 11 of their last 16 possessions. A nice team effort all around stat-wise with Denton leading the way. The Mart-Cat team has a large amount of passes (179) but only scored on 6 of their last 18 possessions.

“Underdog” BriTangica wins a close one that was essentially a pick-em game with that spread. Adrian P with 6Gs and 4Ds, and Gary P gets 8As (most this week!), while E-Ray’s team is efficient with 18 goals on just over 100 passes.

Well, Jon got 2Gs and 1 2A, while Blue got 2 2As…. but neither of them got an assist… which is what the bet was… sooooo…. no points for anyone, but I'm nice so no one "loses" the bet either. The underdog takes this one as well in another close one. Tam/Matt once again with parity in passing but can’t get it in the endzone enough (shout out to Helen O with 3Gs). Slow starts are killing them (3 goals in the first half). Captains Kyra and Nam with 3Gs a piece to help their team squeak out a W and keep pace with the playoff pack.

Hmmm… the underdog wins again in NOT a close one (TIP: When BSL shows confidence, bet the underdog). Lots of people chipping in for 451 with Ricky and Jamie HF getting 4Gs each and Hodges with 7As. ISBeN challenged to score outside of Maggie (4Gs) and Cielle (3Gs)… what will it look like now that they’ve both been traded?! Shout out to ISBeN for parity in passing!

Wow, the underdog wins ANOTHER close one?? Will it be a sweep this week for the ‘dawgs?? Huckers started strong but failed to score on their last 6 possessions, which allowed the Hatters to score twice in that span and win by 1 point. Ouch. Hatters’ Captains with good games, as well as Max GC (4G, 2A, 3D) and Doshi (3G, 2A, 2D), and spotlight on my twin, Patty Russell, with the game winning score. Positive for Huckers: EXACT parity on passes.

Martgaret Catwood (-0.5) vs Zune (Score: 20-13)
Ah yes, here we go, Catwood saves me from total embarrassment by covering the spread (healthily I might add). Zune was in this one until the start of the second half where they went ice cold (10 straight possessions without a goal). Other than Brandon’s 6Gs, the Children struggled for points. Lots of folks chipped in for Catwood with the number 4 showing up on many people’s stat lines (Marty, Luckett, Ivan, Hooper), and Thalia with 2Gs, 3As, 2Ds.
