Lets see all the Facebook and BBS campaigns from people who want to be traded. No fun if that doesn't happen. For those who want to be traded. Get started!!!!

I think if it is confirmed, Amjad should be on this list.

Game Lines, sponsored by Discraft (whose name more people saw when the BBS was on our homescreen)

BC Comics vs Superfriends
BC by 4.5; over/under 52.5
Hard game for the over/under. WarMANda live and play possession disc. But BC and his swillcatching studmuffins are all about the shoot out. Taking BC. I love WarMANda for their capacity for defense, but one thing they are not is tall. I see BC and Shimon raining the plastic love down on the Golden Paycheque and Bracht.
Pro tip: "vertical space"
Hashtag: #HittingTheElbowNotAHighFive
Side Bet: Goals by Gareth over / under 9.5

Darkwing Huck vs SoupCanMan
Don by 12.5; over/under 62.5
So Marcy mortgaged the farm to buy his good buddy Loat at auction, only to end up in receivership, Losing many of his "peeps" along the way. Part way through a rebuilding, he comes against Don "Still have 4 of my first 5 draft picks" Colangelo.
Well, one of those 5 picks unfortunately left the league, and #1 on the waiting list was Danyal "2014 Surprise Player Of The Year" Amjad. I'd suggest you never count out Marcy, in my books he's a justifiable #1 overall pick, but this looks like too much for his talents.
ProTip: Whoever is scoring Darkwing, bring a spare pen
Hashtag: #FingerCramps
Side bet, Don's cap on Thursday: over/under 325k

Harvey Denton vs Fantastic FourTeen
Cam by 2.5; over/under 45.5
It's my own game, but Cam has acquired a strong supporting cast to diversify away from the standard "Norm hucks to (insert Robin of the week here)" gameplan. Not that there's anything wrong with that. But Harvey still has a point of pride, its strong defensive spirit. This should keep scores down.
Side note. All 3 undefeated players are in this game. Denton for Harvey, Scott and Michelle for Cam.
ProTip: When Norm's eyes glisten at the sight of Cam's chestnut locks, everyone run to defend the end zone.
Hashtag: #HowManyShotsCanYouTakeAtAWatchman
Side Bet: More completed hammers, Harvey or FourTeen?

Jack-Ass vs Kaptain America
The Kaptain by 1.5; over under 49.5
Both teams on the ups. Jack with a big win last week had to do more cap/roster turnover, which can hurt. But the big question is where's TipsDee? The fall 2014 version is putting up less salary than a certain lazy 36 year old guy I see in the mirror. TipsDee is far better. In short though, if it comes down to a bit o' desperation, the Man o' Steele catches swill like the best of them.
ProTip: Only Steele makes 50/50 a solid 100
Hashtag: #SarahsAtEight
Side Bet: Most Throw Aways - Dee, Steele, Jack or Hyunhsanity?

Joels Justice League vs Jamie@theDempsters.ca
Joel by 2.5; over / under 48.5
This analysis is brought to you by http://www.TheDempsters.ca . Buying or selling a player? Let Jamie guide you through the ins and outs of TPL. Loat taxes, Big Brother Rules, Sub Share, trade deadlines, exploding offers. We can make player acquisition and dispersal a pleasurable experience.
Jamie looks to ride his lady advantage in the form of lady-MVP-to-be Kate Jardine, and resume his core gameplan of hucking it to anyone running away from him. The question is, with looks like Jamie's, why is anyone running AWAY?
On the other side, Joel has assembled the kind of team to match up well against Dempster's arm. Solid defenders up and down, lead by Joel himself. Offensively, LexLoather backs the handle and has a number of solid options at his disposal.
ProTip: Chase the person running towards the end zone
Hashtag: #OfficialRealEstatePartnerOfTheTPL
Side Bet: More TD's - Jamie to Jar or Loat to Dario

I just wanted to take a second to post a HUGE 'thank you' to all of the stat keepers. It is a thankless job, and I'm sure you all get sick of hearing "you missed my ____" at the end of every gamr. In the end though, I think I can safely say that everybody is very grateful that you give up your time to make this league what it is. (You know...awesome)

THANK YOU!

Would have love to be betting against the house this week. Great run-down of the games Denton but if your numbers were right, there were a lot of upsets this week.
Does this mean we are finding the elusive parity?
Will Marvel and DC start to get along and admit that each has their own strengths?

If you can pull stats like this... I'd be curious to see the setup you have on the backend, and how you track each player each week! Must be something pretty gigantic...

PLAYOFFS
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s2R2sH2ScBM

A quick look at the remaining matchups and standings gives a good look at the inner workings of parity.
In short, it is possible that going into the final week of games, 5 teams will have 10 points, and 5 more will have 8.
Notably, this requires a tie between Warren and Cam this week. Mathematically, at least, no team has yet clinched a playoff spot, but any team that reaches 11 points does clinch.

So it is a race to 11 points, and also a Magic number vs whatever team is in 2nd last place.

Each Magic number point is for 2nd last place team (BC/Joel now) to lose (2 points) or tie (1) game, OR the teams listed to win (2) or tie (1) a game
Denton and Marcy (at 10): Magic number is 1 point
Jamie and Don (at 8 ): 3 points
Warren and Cam (at 7): 4 points
K and Jack (at 6): 5 points
BC and Joel (at 4): 7 points

Matchups to watch: The top 4 teams are fairly safe, though not guaranteed. Of those, only Jamie was a major seller this week in trading. The winner of Warren vs Cam would join that "safe" club, both teams were sellers, and each lost a key lady, while Cam had to trade reigning weekly MVP Norm Lew to Jack for Tom Jennings. This is the game of the week. The other game to watch is Kaptain vs BC Comics. A win by BC brings his team at a level 6 points with K, putting both teams firmly on the cut off line.
Harvey Denton/donkey face and Joelstice/Don feature two teams that desperately need a win to stay alive, and two that have effectively qualified. The final game of Marcy vs Jamie is more about seeding.

A look ahead to week 9:
If all goes to parity plan (BC, Joel, Jack, Jamie, Cam win or tie) then week 9 leaves Joel, BC, K, Warren and Jack needing wins to create the most epic final week ever, in pre-playoffs playoffs.

Might be a good time for Dr.Matt and Dr.MVP to lay out the tiebreakers :)

Playoffs, Week 9 Edition.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s2R2sH2ScBM

Into the final week of the round robin, the path to the playoffs is becoming clear.

SoupcanMan and Harvey Denton both clinch places in the playoffs, and sit at 12 points.

Everyone else is still in the hunt, as Joelstice League, at 5 points, still can get to 9, where Superfriends and Darkwing Huck are tied for 3rd place. With 3 teams tied for 2nd last at 6 points, and 2 games to go, 10 points is now the number to clinch a playoff spot. (Joel can max at 9 with 2 wins; Cam, even with a loss to Jack, can still get to 9; all teams at 6 points can get to 10)

Game of the week:
No doubt the game between Cam's Fantastic Fourteen and donkey face has the most in terms of playoff implications. Both come off low scoring losses this week, but are strong buyers in the trade market. * More trade details to be added later.
donkey face sits at 6 points, while Cam rests at 7.

2 games have playoff spot scenarios: The winner of Jamie (Real Estate Agents) vs Warren (Superfriends) will lock up a spot. Warren also clinches with a tie, while Jamie clinches with a tie unless all the lower point teams win (BC, K, Joel, Jack)

Much like Jamie's tie scenario above, everything has to go wrong for Don (Darkwing) to miss the playoffs, but it still could happen.

As a result, Don's game vs Kaptain America (K), Harvey Denton vs BC Comics, and SoupcanMan vs Joelstice, feature 1 team that needs to win badly, vs another which benefits more by staying under Salary Cap. That said, all teams that need wins face uphill battles this week.

Playoffs, week 10
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s2R2sH2ScBM

With some solid wins, Darkwing Huck, Superfriends, and the Fantastic Fourteen join Soupcanman and Harvey Denton in the playoffs. With one game to go, 5 teams remain in the hunt for 3 playoff bids.

Leading the pack is TREAOS (Jamie). At 8 points, and the only team with a positive plus minus, he might just walk in the back door with a free pass.

Next is Joelstice League whose 20-19 win over Soupcanman surprised many, (cough, cough), leaving him at 7 points.
That leaves BC Comics, JackA$$, and Kaptain America at 6 points. Recent games by K against both BC and Jack point to a week 2 rematch vs Joel (K won 17-13), while Jack vs BC brings back a mid season game where Jack won 25-19.

In related news, with the surprise loss by Soupcanman, Harvey Denton claims (unofficially) the Watchmen's trophy for the regular season. I will now (unofficially) pat myself on the back. BWAAA HA HA HA HA HA HA (evil laugh)

Of course, all the above is pure speculation, as the Watchmen do whatever they want. That is TPL!!

Merry Christmas everyone!

Some stat matchups for the first round of the playoffs:

#1 Denton vs #8 Jack
One team locked in a month ago while the other was in serious doubt at halftime last week. Still this is TPL and Jack has some impressive stat collections to match.

Jack has the #1 scoring roster at 26.9gpg but that's paired with the worst assisting roster at 21apg... that's by far the biggest spread of any team between As and Gs. Some players are going to have to change their ways! For the matchup he has the #2 D roster at 13.5dpg salivating at playing the leading TA team in Denton at 26.6 TA/g (leaders by 3 TA/g!)

Denton's strength is in the highest assisting playoff roster at 26.5/game (50/50 anyone?), almost as much ahead in that as they are in TA but not quite. Pretty average across the other categories, including D but Jack does lead in most drops to possibly help out.

#2 Warmanda vs #7 Cam
The first of two rematches from last week, Warmanda won by 7 but key scorer Tommy Gun Jennings was resting up.

Warmanda lead the league in D at 14.7dpg but are suffering at near last in assists/g despite a solid group in the handle. Their biggest strength is in roster continuity which shows up in their overall winning percentage at 70%, 5% clear of Denton, 10% on Joel.

Cam is 2nd to Denton in both A 24.9 and TA 23.8. As they showed last week, they have the patience to pass 30 times to score but the key for them will be improving upon their 2nd to last D of only 10 d/g. Tom and Cam are both previous top D men (Cam #1 overall last season) so perhaps they are saving it up?

#3 Marcy vs #6 Joel
An interesting match up of frequent trading partners from the season. First Joel took the bidded up Loat to save Marcy from cap hell, then a few weeks later he parlayed him back for some help in the handle.

Joel has the 2nd highest scoring team at 26.6 and 3rd in assists to back it up. They also lead the league in lack of drops at 4.1. A little loose with the disc at times but when they get in the groove they're very dangerous as shown last week going from a 10-8 1st half to a 15-3 2nd half.

Marcy, as expected in the Loat school of TPL, leads the league in minimizing turnovers with the lowest TAs at 19.4 and 2nd lowest drops. The control offense has its drawbacks of being the lowest scoring playoff team at 21.8 g/pg (hard to do that with the 7g/pg Golden Paycheque). Average at assists and then the lowest at 2nd Assists.

#4 Don vs #5 Jamie
Another rematch from last week which Jamie won easily by 5. This time the absentee was Jules, who is a key player for Don to keep the flow and release Amjad as a top scorer.

These teams match up incredibly close on the stats. Both have exactly 25G/g, 22.3 (Don) vs 22.0 at assists, 21.5 (Don) vs 21.3 at TAs and both rosters have 50% winning percentages. Don has an edge at D, thanks to Jamie's team being last at only 9.3 d/g, while Jamie's swing passing team leads the playoff teams in 2nd A/g at 18.4

Tipsdee in the hizz-ay. Missed me?

Anywho, redemption time. GarceLoat vs Dee (and Matt x 2). Last chance to get revenge on Garcel, seeing as we are golden paycheque less next season.

SO, I LAY DOWN THE GAUNTLET TO THE ARTIST FORMERLY KNOWN AS GARCEL

Dee Aubrey Graham (also known as Dee-rake)
[Chorus:]
Started from the bottom now I’m here
Started from the bottom now my whole team &^%$*& here (Vargas and BB gun what)
Started from the bottom now I’m here
Started from the bottom now the whole team here, playa (Faulkeye in yo eye playa)
Started from the bottom now I’m here
Started from the bottom now the whole team here, playa (Caplan bust a cap in yo' ass)
Started from the bottom now I’m here
Started from the bottom now my whole team &^%$*& here (Jed to Jackson rippin' down sh%t)

[Verse 1:]
I done kept it real from the draft
Started on Cam’s team we'd argue every night
Playa, I was trying to get points on my own
Working so hard, but intermediate male traffic in the endzone
And my stats awards calling me like "Where ya at?
I gave you the disc told ya dump it right back
Playa, I just think it's funny how it goes
Now I'm on Denton’s team, $50k for an MVP show
And I...

[Chorus:]
Started from the bottom now I’m here
Started from the bottom now my whole team &^%$*& here (KC & Ra-ji(v)
Started from the bottom now I’m here
Started from the bottom now the whole team here, playa (Koo in the hizzy)
Started from the bottom now I’m here
Started from the bottom now the whole team here, playa (Marko gets another D)
Started from the bottom now I’m here
Started from the bottom now my whole team &^%$*& here (And my girl HT)

[Verse 2:]
Tweets tell stories about Harvey Den
Say we never struggled, wasn't hungry, yeah, it’s true playa
He could turn your boys into men
There ain't many TPL posts I read that's poppin' off without us, Playa
Denton deserves the credit where it's due
We’re gonna worry about us, give a damn about you
Marcy, just as a reminder to yo’ self
I wear every single stat, even when I drink top shelf
Cause I...

[Chorus:]
Started from the bottom now I’m here
Started from the bottom now my whole team &^%$*& here
Started from the bottom now I’m here
Started from the bottom now the whole team here, playa

[Bridge:]
No new players, naaah we don't feel that
Damn a superfriend, where you real friends at?
We don't like to do too much explaining
Play stays the same I never changed it
No new players, playa we don't feel that
Who needs trades, where you real friends at?
We don't like to do too much explaining
Story stay the same through the salary and TPL fame
Cause I...

[Chorus:]
Started from the bottom now I’m here
Started from the bottom now my whole team (Matt) &^%$*& here
Started from the bottom now I’m here
Started from the bottom now the whole team (Denton) here, playa
Started from the bottom now I’m here
Started from the bottom now my whole team (Matt) &^%$*& here
Started from the bottom now I’m here
Started from the bottom now the whole team (KIRK) here, playa

Dee, I'm stat-keeping tonight, and I'm ready to hand out some flair.

Dee's a captain next season so all you other captains have just been called out. Get your thinking caps on. I want to see a revival of the good old days of creative captain commentary (CCC).

Picks up Dee's mic.

Garcela Pop (feat. Lex Loathor), going for the 3-peat, proudly present:

(T-P-L) I love it!

(Context, in case you hiding in a cabin in the woods in 2012 fearing for the end of the world: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UxxajLWwzqY)

I got this feeling playing Ultimate when Kim went long.
I threw the disc into Dee’s poach. My bad, I caused a turn.
Nom’ threw the disc around the field but Cal got a layout.
I scoobed the disc right into Fell.

T-P-L! I love it!
T-P-L!

I got this feeling playing Ultimate when Hoops went long.
I threw the disc into Kirk’s poach. My bad, I caused a turn.
Faulk floats the disc jammed up the line Wangers then gets a D.
Deens then makes a sweet handler strike.

T-P-L! I love it!
T-P-L!

You're on a different side, you’re forcing the wrong way.
You want a backhand throw, Ameet then hits Tremblay.
Loat’s so damn hard to mark, we gotta stop his flow.
But now that Marcy’s on, they work the give and go.

I love it!
I love it!

I got this feeling playing Ultimate with Anita on.
I threw the disc into Matt’s poach. My Bad! I caused a turn.
Koo threw some sh%t into the air Natalia got it back.
Lawrence big flick in for a score.

T-P-L! I love it!
T-P-L! I love it! I love it!
T-P-L! I love it!
T-P-L!

We are on Soupcanman, we’re gonna take first place.
You want to stop hammers, then we’ll just throw some blades.
We're so damn hard to stop, forcing backhand or flick.
You may be Harvey D, we got Golden Paycheque!

T-P-L! I love it!
T-P-L! I love it! I love it!
