Look for Clapham United led by Justin Foord, who played with GOAT at 2012 USAU's and led Great Britain to a silver medal at WUGC in Japan last summer, to be a finalist. Chevron Action Flash, Fire of London & Brighton City also look to book a place in the semis. The top six Open teams qualify for the European Championships

Clapham showed well in the USA last week playing at the Chesapeake Invite. Against some of America's top teams plus GOAT they made semis and finished the tournament 4th of 12. Lost to Ironside 12-14 in their semi and 7-15 to PoNY in the 3rd place game. In pool play they beat Raleigh Ring of Fire 15-12 and Atlanta Chain Lightening 15-14. Bodes well for the future of international Ultimate as the World Clubs approach.

Women's
Iceni is the ladies team to beat. The challengers should be Nice Bristols and Leeds Leeds Leeds. The top four Women's teams will also qualify for 2013 EUCC.
