Summer-2 Pre-Teen Programs
The co-ed Summer Pre-Teen Programs are aimed at providing a fun atmosphere for younger players to learn and develop the skills necessary to play ultimate, with the emphasis on FUN. Experienced coaches lead each and every session which are for players aged 6 - 13. All players must be registered as a 2019 TUC Junior Member first and provide a signed waiver to the office or coach(es) before participating.
Based on age, gender and skill level, we will offer different groups within each individual program:
The FUNdamentals: Learn all fundamental movement skills and introduce basic Ultimate skills in a fun environment. Participants will be provided with a well-structured, fun and stimulating environment to develop the ABC’s of athleticism (agility, balance, coordination and speed), hand-eye coordination and time to experiment with basic Ultimate specific skills. Introduction to Spirit of the Game (SOTG).
Learn to Play: Learn general Ultimate skills and develop understanding of Spirit of the Game (SOTG) in a fun and cooperative environment. Participants will begin mastering the basic Ultimate skills through training and skill specific drills. Structured competition is introduced to test skills learned in practice. Increased focus on Spirit of the Game will help participants develop emotional control, communication skills and sportsmanship.
The Summer-1 Pre-Teen Program offers choices of various days and several locations in 2019, beginning the week of May 20th and running until the first week of July.

Level of Play: Ages 6 -13; All skill levels are welcome
