Winter Teen Programs

For the 2017 Winter season, we will be offering 2 separate and distinct opportunities for u19's to play Ultimate! We will be offering a Thursday evening instructional program and a Saturday afternoon organized HAT league.

All teens under age 19 (recommended 14-18), are invited to participate in the TUC Winter u19 Programs and/or Leagues. The goals of the programs are: (i) to have fun; (ii) to learn Spirit of the Game; and (iii) to improve individual skills and team strategies.

All participants must be registered as a 2017 TUC Youth member first (cost $35/person) and provide a signed waiver form to the TUC office. Registration is by individual online and participants will be placed onto teams/groups at the field. Coaches will be present at all times.

Thursday @ Monarch Park - Co-ed u19 Instructional Program

Back by popular demand! The Thursday Co-ed u19 Instructional Program will be offered again at Monarch Park Stadium (close to Coxwell subway station) and will be open to all Youth players aged 14-18. Registration is only by individual and teams/groups will be created at the field.

Saturday @ Central Tech - High Schooler's HAT League

New and Improved for 2017! TUC's High Schooler's HAT League is back for a second year! The format will be a bit different, with the league now becoming a standard 7-on-7 offering using a 4:3 gender ratio (much like outdoor Ultimate). This fast-paced, 60-minute game will be offered for all juniors u19 (14-18 age group). The players will be divided evenly into teams (based on skill level - hoping to run an Intermediate league with 4 teams for one hour and a Competitive league with 4 teams for the other hour) and a ratings ladder will be used to try and balance out the level of play as best we can. All teams will also have Coaches to help assist in the fluidity of a 'competitive' match, score keeping and some minor instruction. The coaches are volunteers from 2014 and 2015 National Championship teams! Registration will be by individual only and players will be allocated to teams, in a true HAT format. This High Schooler's HAT League is truly a stepping stone into Adult Ultimate play with TUC!

Age/Divisions: u19 (ages 14-18); all skill levels are welcome (though some playing experience is suggested)
Format: Co-ed 7-on-7 League with scores and standings
Dates: Starts January 28 and finishes April 22 (11 weeks - NO games on February 18 or April 15)
Times: 3:00 - 4:55 pm | exact game times TBA based on number of registrants and league format
Location: Central Tech Stadium
Cost: $100
Maximum number of Individuals: 72 males; 48 females

Registration status: Opens November 30th @ 12:00 pm for INDIVIDUALS
