Winter League Registration is Open and Spots Are Filling Up!

Winter is almost here and now is the time to sign up! TUC has the Varsity Centre, BMO Field, and the Downsview Hangar for its indoor leagues in Winter 2008. We have options for 4 nights of the week, from recreational to highly competitive Ultimate and you can sign up a team or as an individual. All leagues are 6-on-6 on large sized, quality indoor fields, all of which are TTC and highway accessible. This is the perfect opportunity to get active this Winter and improve your game for next summer season!

Please note that leagues with multiple locations (Mondays & Thursdays) are not separate leagues (although they have separate divisions). You will play games at both venues, as roughly indicated by the ratios.

Fall Indoor Updates

Our BMO Fall Indoor Leagues have started very successfully and everyone is enjoying this great new facility in the heart of Toronto. The last TUC games before X-Mas will be on December 17 & 18, then we will break for the holidays with games resuming on January 7 & 8. The final games for our ‘Fall’ BMO Leagues will be on February 4 & 5. Then we start ‘Winter’ BMO Leagues – did we mention Winter Registration is open?!?!?!?

In our Thursday Individual Draft League at the Hangar, each team names themselves after a certain barnyard animal and this season is the Year of the Pig. In the competitive division, undefeated ‘Pigs in Space’ leads the pack and ‘Rosy the Vietnamese Potbelly’ is atop the Tier 2 standings with 3 weeks left to play. Playoffs begin this coming Thursday (Dec 6) for Tier 1 and Dec 13 for Tier 2. Good luck to all teams!
