Ultimate is growing rapidly in the Greater Toronto Area, especially at the ages between 8-17 years old. To help facilitate some of that growth the recruitment of coaches is at a greater need than ever before. Between TUC junior leagues, schools (both high school and elementary) and community programs there is a high demand for coaches. If you've ever wanted to get started with coaching now is the time to get involved.
The Toronto Ultimate Club is growing it's junior/youth summer league and we are looking for coaches and managers. Coaches must have a desire to work with junior aged players (8-18 years old) and should have a strong rule knowledge base and technical skill set. Our junior/youth leagues will comprise of a mix of those being introduced to the sport for the first time along with those who have played with their school's team. So of the players are even returning players from previous TJSL years. Coaches will be working with players who enjoy ultimate and wish to one day continue playing as adults and players interested in pursuing opportunities to play youth and adult competitive level ultimate.
If you are interested in helping out with the TUC Juniors, please email Jamie Millage (Manager of Athlete Development and Coaching) for more details, email@example.com.
