For December is Emma Gelok

Emma Gelok - December Volunteer of the month

Emma Gelok is our volunteer of the month for December. You may have seen Emma around at some of the TUC sponsored social events, with good reason. She's one of the co-chairs of our social events committee. Emma is also the Pie Plate editor and she and her staff are putting in a lot of hard work to ensure that the 2007 Pie Plate is one of the best.

Thanks Emma for your dedication!

The 2007 Volunteer of the Month awards are brought to you by Scallywags Bar & Restaurant. Each Volunteer of the Month receives $50 Scally's Dollars that can be used towards any purchase at Scallywags!

Thanks to all of our members who have volunteered their submissions and contributions for the Pie Plate. The PL8, TUC’s annual souvenir magazine, will be going to print over the holidays and we hope to have it available in January. A limited number of hard copies will be made available at the TUC office and TUC events and we will post the Pie Plate online for everyone to read. If you’d like to have a look at last year’s Pie Plate click this link.

A reminder to all teams and players that the initial schedule we posted for Winter Women’s League at Varsity Centre was changed recently. The League will now start Sunday, January 6 and conclude Sunday, April 6 (14 weeks). Game times are 6:30pm and 7:30pm, instead of 5:30pm and 6:30pm that we advertised in November. Enjoy the season!

Sincerely,

The TUC Staff
