May is here and that means the Ultimate season is just around the corner. TUC has already hosted the Juniors Ultimate Spring Tournament (J.U.S.T) and it was a huge success. Congrats goes goes out to Denison A for being crown the first J.U.S.T champions.
With the start of the 2005 Summer League around the corner, TUC is working hard to make sure that season gets of to a smooth start. Team registrations are over with, and the captain's meetings will be running from May 16 - 19. The season will begin the week of May 23. We would like to thank you all for your patience with the new registration process, most of the bugs have been worked out.
We appreciate your efforts in helping to maintain the cleanliness of our fields (what comes with you goes home with you). Have a great season!
| Ultimate Long Weekend
 It'll soon be here, the inaugural Ultimate Long Weekend tournament in Huntsville, ON. For all those who are interested in attending you need to register and pay their $40.00 deposit ASAP to ensure that the necessary arrangements are made. This can be done by clicking here.
Even if you don't have a team you can sign up as an individual and we'll find you a team. Act now, time is running out.
For $165.00 you get 3 nights accommodations, 7 meals along with free beer and 2 days of Ultimate. Children are welcome as we have 14 cabins available for families, and children under age 5 are free. Children 5 and up are $110.00/child which includes all meals and programming. There will be supervised activities by qualified camp councilors for all the venues the camp has to offer. Camp Olympia staff will provide programming based on kids age groups. If you're interested in getting a cabin please email admin@tuc.org to make the necessary arrangements.

| TUC and Easter Seals 24 Hour Ultimate Relay
 The Toronto Ultimate Club has the perfect thing for you. TUC is a part of this year's Easter Seals 24 Hour Relay and we are looking for 12 teams to play Ultimate in a structured tournament over a 24 hour period.
The Easter Seals 24 Hour Relay is a unique and exhilarating adventure where you can stay up all night, relay the 2.5km course and enjoy the sports(however you will be playing a minimum of 4 Ultimate games over this period instead), entertainment with a 24 hour party. Plus you'll feel great about it the next day.
Each year over 1500 participants from corporate and independent teams join together to help kids with physical disabilities succeed. The Relay provides an environment that combines a visual community presence with competition, adventure and fitness in a "Party with a Purpose" atmosphere.
Put together a team and be a part of something special on June 11 - 12, 2005.
There's over $30 000 dollars worth of prizes and incentives for those who come out, including 2 free jackets for each ultimate team (donated by GAIA), a TUC 25th Anniversary flashflight Disc (yep a disc with a light so you can see it in the dark), t-shirts, gift bags.
Food and beer are available at a reasonable cost.
In order to participate in the Easter Seals 24 Relay you need to do the following:
Pull together at least 15 friends, family or colleagues
Assign a team captain
Register by going to www.tuc.org, print the form, fill it in and fax it to 416-426-7153 or by calling the Toronto Ultimate Club at 416-426-7175 to discuss your entry for 'Easter Seals'
Pay the $100 registration fee -when you call
Come up with a funky team name .......and start.....
Raise pledges for Easter Seals Kids both on line (The Easter Seals Website has all the necessary tools for getting on line pledges) and off line
Attend the ULTIMATE Relay
Have the time of your life for 24 hours!

Join the women of Toronto's Touring community for an evening of skills &drills. Brush up on your throws and defense prior to the Summer season opening.

First Aid workshop - Preventative and Reactive Techniques to Common injuries.
At least 2 members from each team are encouraged to attend. Cost $10/person.
