All winners were given 25 tickets to the September 28th Argos game versus the Ottawa Renegades and an invite to compete in our Showcase games on October 1, 2005 at Diamond Beach Sports Complex in Etobicoke's Centennial Park.

Have you ever wanted to know what it's like to play on Field Turf? Well TUC is giving you the opportunity give the brand new FieldTurf a try up at the Hangar for FREE. That's right FREE indoor pickup on the new FieldTurf this Monday October 3, 2005 and Tuesday October 4, 2005 starting at 10:45 PM. All TUC members are invited to come out and give this new turf a try.

TUC is now offering single gender leagues on the best indoor turf in town. Although the time spots are not the greatest being 10PM to 12 midnight we are hoping that the turf makes the difference. To date we have 2 women's teams & 2 mens teams signed up. You can register as an individual and be placed on a team and or sign-up an entire team (12 players max.) Women's ultimate is on Monday nights and the men's is on Tuesdays. $95 per individual or $1200 per team. Play will begin on the following days in October. The 11th for the men and 17th for the women (sorry ladies Thanksgiving Break) If this is something your considering then come and check it out this Monday and Tuesday night during the OPEN HOUSE. Get a feel for the turf and how indoor ultimate is played! It's a different game and a great workout.

This Saturday October 1, 2005 TUC will be showcasing their nightly champions with games under the lights. These games will be starting at 6:30 PM. But for those of you who are looking to kill off an afternoon beforehand we will be playing a round of Disc Golf on the Centennial Park Disc Golf course.

For the disc golf enthusiast, we should meet in the parking lot at 1:30 PM. The parking lot is just off of Rathburn Road west of Renforth Drive. Look for the Etobicoke Olympium building on your right and continue west to the first road way on your right hand side. This is the northern extension of Elmcrest Road. Turn right and park in the parking lot just north of the greenhouses.

Following Disc Golf we'll all get together at the Diamond Beach Sports Complex (right beside the Mini Indy Go Cart Track) to enjoy some affordable FOOD and REFRESHMENTS while watching the showcase games take place. The establishment is licensed and is right beside the fields.

The first game will be at 6:30 PM with a rematch of Thursday's playoff final of FUBAR (Thursday Champions) vs. Spidermonkey. The second game will feature one of our Monday night finalists vs our Wednesday night champions (Guanxi).
