Our Return to Play Guidelines can be found here. Please note that under the Government of Ontario's "COVID-19 Response Framework: Keeping Ontario safe and open", athletes can only register to be a part of one program (one cohort of up to 50 people).
We are pleased to announce our plans for the 2021 Summer Outdoor season. We have adjusted our age group offerings slightly from our announcement made on March 19th, 2021 to now include a U21 Young Adult League offering!
All Young Adult offerings will follow TUC's COVID-19 Safe Return to Play Guidelines and COVID-19 Rule Modifications to ensure participant safety, including a wellness screening.
All players, age 18 to 21, are invited to participate in the TUC Young Adult League. The leagues will function like regular adult leagues, just with more bounce and less knowledge of late 20th century events. TUC will ensure there is proper leadership on each team, either through sign-ups or through assigned volunteer captains.
The TUC Summer season start dates are currently TBD due to the circumstances surrounding COVID-19. The season length will be determined once local authorities instruct us that it is safe to return to sport.
The final format for these leagues will depend on health protocols, but we are hoping to have two (2) leagues of 4 teams (12 players per team), one in the East and one in the West end of the city. And if restrictions ease by summer's end, we'd look to run a TUC Championship with competition between the East and West teams.
All TUC Young Adult Leagues will be HAT leagues, which means groups are created by mixing the skill levels of all players who sign up.
All players must be valid TUC members. If you possess a 2020/2021 membership (Youth, Intro, Post-Secondary or Adult) that was valid through to March 31st, 2021 then you must acquire a new membership in order to play in ANY Summer Leagues (league fees still apply). 2021/2022 Memberships are valid from April 1st, 2021 to March 31st, 2021.
