Winter Indoor League Champs
A big win for Hat Teams everywhere as the Hawt Hot Hawt Hot Hat Team became our Sunday UCC champions. They took on an ironically named Low Expectations in the final and ended it all in a dramatic fashion, 16-15. Congratulations to the hat team for a strong finish. Low Expectations only loss in the regular season was to the Hat Team but otherwise went through all the other teams undefeated.

After strong wins in their respective semi's, Jambone met defending league champions The Shepherds in the Men's Varsity League final. It was a great game to watch with all players on the field being current or ex-touring players. With very high rates of completion, turnovers where only coming from the athletic defenders on both teams. A late game intercept from David Shimmoda, turned the momentum back to Jambone as they equalized the score 20-20 forcing double game point. Jambone would get the disc back off a deep block and feed the disc to Sachin Raina, who decided a 50 foot high hammer was the best way to end the game. Jambone takes it 21-20.

Thursday Downsveiw's 'Pig' themed league winners both come in the form of Bacon. Baconator in the competitive division and Better Than Baconator in the Intermediate divsion.
Baconator narrowly avoided Swine Flew in the final with a 30-29 victory. And as their name suggests Better Than Baconator finished with a much more comfortable lead of 28-21 over Gettin' Piggy With It.

The Monday Rec final was a close match between Huckminsterfullerene and Red. After winning their semi in double game point 18-17, Huckminsterfullerene continued to bring their exciting +1 game to final where they did it again to take the title over Red 20-19.

Four Plays take the Monday Lamport Intermediate Division title against Friends of the ABC, with an impressive 21-10 finish. Both teams met in the finals despite only have won 4 games during the season.

The Monday Competitive winners are #movingrightalong, taking out The Hive 23-17 in the final. Quite the result considering they finished their regular season with a plus minus record of -4!

Wildcard 2.0, as always the Monday Elite team to beat, pulled out another consecutive finals win. Wildcard 2.0 defeated Ganesh in the final game handily, finishing one point away from doubling their score, 35-18!
