UPDATE: Changes to TUC COVID-19 VACCINATION POLICY

Effective immediately, and due to the removal of all support for Verify Ontario and other provincial COVID-19 verification apps, TUC will remove the vaccination requirement and proof of vaccination requirement for all TUC members. We apologize for the short lead time between this announcement and the removal of the policy, however given staff can no longer verify the authenticity of a submitted document, we believe the process is now flawed. TUC kept its vaccination policy for as long as possible, noting both the interest of the membership to keep it, plus a desire to continually go above and beyond. We want to thank everyone for their patience with our manual verification process of each document over the last year.

TUC strongly urges and recommends all members able to get a COVID-19 vaccine to do so, and to remain up to date with the latest Health Canada, Ontario Ministry of Health, and Public Health Agency of Canada recommendations and guidelines on vaccines.

Our Safe Return to Play Protocols with the Vaccination Policy removed will be uploaded to our website within 24 hours.

UPCOMING EVENTS

Egg Nog and Hot Cocoa Pick-Up on Wednesday, December 28th at Central Tech Stadium - REGISTRATION REQUIRED

After a two-year hiatus, we are pleased to offer Egg Nog and Hot Cocoa Pick-up Games!

On Wednesday, December 28th, 2022, from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Central Tech Stadium, TUC will host two hours of pick-up for the Ultimate Community - TUC members and Non-TUC Members.

We have fields 2 and 3 and will run two (2) games from 7 to 9 pm. On one field, we will offer pick-up for Rec/Intermediate players, and on the other, a game for Comp/Elite players. 

To go along with the theme, participants are urged to bring a yellow and a brown shirt to play on either Team Egg Nog or Team Hot Cocoa.

Masters and Grand Masters Womxn Clinic on Friday, December 30th at Central Tech Stadium - REGISTRATION REQUIRED

Reconnect with the ultimate community and refresh your skills to get ready for TUC's Winter Indoor offerings! Put your cleats on, run around, throw/catch, scrimmage, and get/give coaching support. Re-engage with the sport you love and learn to play smarter with age, so you can play longer. All who identify as women and who will be 30+ years of age by the end of 2023 (i.e. born in 1993 or earlier) are welcome!

• Time: 9:30 pm - 10:55 pm
• Location: Central Tech Stadium (Field 3)
• Cost: FREE for TUC Members / $5 ($4.42 + HST) for Non-Members
• Maximum number of individuals: 40 female-identifying individuals
• Format: Led by Masters/GM women from the TUC community. The tentative agenda is:
  • Cleat up and socialize
  • dynamic warm-up activities and coaching (conditioning tips)
  • simple drills and coaching (technical tips)
  • scrimmage and coaching (strategic tips)
  • Cool down activities and guided discussion (what's next: opportunities to play league, pick-up, tournaments; more events/clinics; leadership opportunities)
