TUC MEMBERSHIP DISC

Membership discs were distributed at the Captains Meeting, for all players who were confirmed on their team rosters by May 18. Look for your captain who should be distributing packages. Note if you play on multiple teams only one captain has your package (the earlier night of the week). If your captain does not have a package for you, you can pick yours up at the TUC office (Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm) or upcoming TUC events.

TUC GIVES A HELPING HAND!

During this past Winter Indoor League, TUC member Ron Johnson started a small donation drive for the Tsunami relief efforts in Japan. He would bring a bucket to the field and leave it on the sideline, asking fellow players to make any contribution big or small. This generous act inspired many to donate. In April, the TUC Board of Directors voted to match Ron’s efforts 4-to-1, and the Club has sent a donation to the Red Cross. We have also offered to send 100 discs overseas to the Japan Flying Disc Federation (JFDA), to assist those ultimate players who have lost all of their personal belongings. The JFDA is very appreciative of the offer and the donation (we are currently awaiting word on shipping the discs).

Thanks to Ron for his generous act and to those who donated to the relief effort!
