TUC 2004 AGM

Dear TUC Members,

We trust you have all had an enjoyable summer of Ultimate, made some great friends, and learned a few new skills along the way.

2004 for TUC saw some changes to our operations. Special thanks goes out to John Harris (our previous GM) for putting the club on a pedestal; our positioning in the community made some key operational transitions quite seamless. As well, the welcoming of Christopher Lowcock to the GM role and organization of a selfless TUC Executive team (thank you guys!), was a huge contributing factor to our season's success.

Many of you have been supportive of our new initiatives, offered valuable feedback and volunteered hours of your time to make the TUC experience great. It is for this reason that we invite you to this year's Annual General Meeting to be held at the SAO Building on Wednesday October 27th, 2004 at 7pm Room #3B.

The AGM is the official forum for our community to learn of our year's accomplishments, a platform for members to voice opinion, and an opportunity for you to become more involved with your TUC. This forum is designed to constructively assess the direction of the club, with time allocated to address each issue. Agenda items should be submitted to board@tuc.org by Tuesday, October 12th to be included for discussion.

One other important aspect of the AGM is to elect your upcoming Board of Directors for 2005. Our ideal candidates are passionate, objective, friendly TUC members looking to effect positive change. Submissions for candidacy can be directed to board@tuc.org by Tuesday, October 12th.

We hope you will join your TUC friends for this evening as we prepare to build onto our successes into 2005. For more information on the AGM visit AGM 2004 link below.

See you there!
