Last week Thursday December 20, 2012 saw the first championship games of the fall indoor season as the Thursday Downsview Hangar league came to a close. The Intermediate division saw a decisive victory for Hot Dogs over Capt’n Cam and the Underdogs by a score of 33 – 27. The Competitive division saw Hair of the Dog take on Dognam Style in a rivalry that saw both teams go 1 win, 1 loss and 1 tie in head to head matchups during the regular season. In the end Dognam Style couldn’t keep up with the legs of Hair of the Dog and ended up losing by a score 43-35.
Congrats goes out to both Hair of the Dog and Hot Dogs for their 2012 Fall Hangar League Championships.

The Winter Hangar League is slated to begin on January 3, 2013,spots are full for men but there are still a very limited spots available for females. Go to the Winter Hangar League Registration page to get yourself registered (or added to the waiting list if you are a guy). Registration closes on December 31, 2012.
Winter League registration is now open! TUC Winter Leagues begin in either January or February and run through April. We offer all leagues at premier indoor facilities, 5 days of the week. Due to delays being experienced with inflating the dome at Monarch Park our Fall Indoor Leagues will again be pushed back another week with our first league game being played on Tuesday November 13th. League spots are still available, visit this page.
The new start dates for our Monarch Park Indoor Leagues are now:

2012 Sunday Fall Outdoor Champions

The fall outdoor season has finally come to a close as the Sunday and Tuesday leagues finals that took place this past week. On Sunday November 4th, Red October and Black November once again met in the finals of the Sunday Fall Outdoor League. On what was a chilly November afternoon, both teams played close semi final match ups earlier in the to set up what has become one of the biggest rivalries in the Sunday fall league over the past few years. The game was an exciting game and was close right to the end but Black November took the early lead and never looked back winning by a score of 14-12 to become the 2012 Fall Sunday League Champions.
The Tuesday Intermediate Fall Outdoor league finals was originally scheduled to be played on October 30th but due to Superstorm Sandy the decision was made to spare the teams from having to play in torrential rain and 100 km/h winds and got pushed back to November 6th. The finals saw the top two teams from the regular season, K-nine and Leave It All on The Field, battle it out for the championship. In what was also a close game from the start to finish, K-nine capped off their undefeated regular season with a 2 point victory.
Fall INDOOR League registration is going strong (some leagues are already full) and we are now offering new Tuesday Co-ed Fall Indoor Leagues! There will be a new Tuesday Co-ed Hat League at Lamport Stadium (individual signup only) and a new Tuesday Co-ed Team League at Monarch Park Stadium. There is a Sunday TEAM spot available at UCC as of November 7. Note that weekday Monarch Park Stadium Leagues will be starting on November 13, 14, & 15.
