2013 GOAT/GT/ROY Tryouts

The Ultimate Experience Open Club (GOAT, Grand Trunk, ROY) are pleased to announce they will be holding tryouts for all three teams in 2013.

All teams are holding open tryouts at Monarch Park School on the following date:

Saturday April 27: 8 pm - 11 pm

The cost for tryouts is $20. Part of this tryout cost will be going towards helping GOAT fly to multiple tournaments. Please bring a disc and light/dark jerseys.

There will be additional invitation-only tryouts announced to candidates after this initial date. There may be additional costs to further tryouts as well.

With me actually... I didn't expect someone to register in the 43 seconds between when I flipped the form live (and unannounced), and when I swapped the price field in the database in the other window. You have excellent timing.

I'll ask one of the GOAT guys to refund you $5 at the field.

Toronto OPEN Touring Tryout

Open Tryout
April 27th 8-11 pm at Monarch Park

The indoor tryout will be run by GOAT Captain Jon ‘Martinez’ Martin
This tryout will be indoors.
The tryout will include assessment of skills and fitness via exercises, drills and scrimmage.

Those who cannot attend this tryout should still register and pay. Include in your submission your reason for missing the tryout, MGL or TUF.

MGL – May GOAT League
April 30, May 2 – Riverdale West
May 7, May 9 – Riverdale West

Players selected to attend MGL will be provided with a document that outlines the costs involved to attend the tournaments included in the GOAT Schedule below. They will be asked to communicate their commitment to attendance at practices, camps and each of the tournaments listed below. This commitment should be made considering the estimated costs provided. Commitment will be one of the inputs into the decision for the final roster of the team for both in town and out of town players. It will not be the only decision as we know that all World Games and U23 players will miss the Pro-Elite Challenge. Additionally failure to meet the commitments communicated at this time will be considered when setting the US Fall Series Roster. (Things will change or come up and we understand this but the reasons will be considered for the finals roster.)

TUF – Toronto Ultimate Festival Tournament
2 GOAT / GT Teams  TT1, TT2
1 ROY Team  TT3
The teams will be divided with the aim of creating equally talented (on paper) squads for TT1 and TT2 for both days of the tournament.

Expect a GOAT only tryout May 19th at a venue to be determined.
