Volunteer of The Year 2021 - James Ho

Volunteers are an integral part of the TUC Community. We want to thank everyone who makes our leagues, programs, clinics and social events possible. We also want to give an extra warm thanks to our 2021 Volunteer of the Year: James Ho

James has been a TUC member for 13 years, and joined our coaching roster as a way to keep busy while his kids played.

He has coached juniors for almost 4 years.  "I enjoy seeing the junior players progress in skill level and develop a love of the game.  My hope is that the kids have fun in our sessions and go on to become lifelong TUC members. I have also met so many great TUC members through coaching."

James has coached with TUC year round over those 4 years, contributing in huge ways to the growth and development of hundreds of young ultimate players in Toronto..

As a player he has GMed in TPL for 5 seasons and really enjoys the Masters and the Downsview hat leagues .  He has also toured a couple of seasons with Roy and is joining Torontosaurus Rex to play in Ireland at Worlds in the GGM division.

And on top of all of that, James has also designed 3 TPL championship discs!
