From November 20 - Feb 5, TUC is offering Tuesday indoor PICKUP at Lamport Stadium! Pickup games will start just after 9:00pm and will run through to 11pm (or later for those hard core players). Sign-up is optional each week and the cost is $15 per night. All players are welcome! You must pay on-site prior to participating and you must sign-up in advance on our weekly BBS pickup thread. TUC has partnered with the new professional Ultimate team, the Toronto Rush! This will mean lots of great opportunities for the TUC membership at Toronto Rush games in 2013, including sweet ticket discounts! More details to come in the new year.

The Rush is hosting its first-ever Open Combine on November 24 at Monarch Park Stadium, 12pm - 4pm. Want to try out for Canada's first professional Ultimate team? Read further for more details.

Want to work in Ultimate? The Toronto Ultimate Club is accepting applications for the position of Administration & Events Coordinator (AEC), until November 18, 2012. This 10 month contract position will offer part-time hours in the winter and full-time hours in the spring/summer. It will be ideal for a senior-level university student or recent graduate, or a part-time contractor/retiree with superior administrative skills. Read further for job description and more details.

The annual general meeting (AGM) of the membership of TUC will take place on Monday, November 5, from 7:00pm - 8:30pm, at the OISE Building near Varsity Centre. Read further for more details on the AGM.

The Toronto Ultimate Community lost a great ambassador on Wednesday morning as Robert Camp lost his two and a half year battle with Cancer while at the Princess Margaret Hospital with his incredible wife Claudine at his side.

TUC PIE PLATE 2012 - CALL FOR CONTRIBUTORS

The Toronto Ultimate Club’s yearly publication, Pie Plate Magazine, is finally swinging back into action this summer – and we’re looking for contributors to help make the return a glorious one! Whether you’ve got an idea for your own feature article, or you’d like to get involved but just don’t know how, Pie Plate is all about TUC members unleashing their creative talent on the Ultimate population. We are looking for writers, editors, photographers, and videographers willing to volunteer a little time to make a big impact on the Toronto Ultimate community.

Got a great story to tell about your time with TUC – whether old or new to the club? Want to report on an upcoming tourney? Know of a regular pick-up in your neighbourhood? Or have you been involved playing Ultimate abroad? Pie Plate features material of all shapes and sizes, and welcomes all who would like to be a part. Toronto Ultimate Club presents the 2012 Summer Season Kick-Off Party. A packed night of music & DJ's, dancing, contests and cheap drinks. This is a free entry event for TUC members (19+) and $5.00 for non-members at the door.

Join us on Friday evening, May 25th at El Macombo (2nd floor). This is an amazing venue in the heart of downtown, at Spadina and College.
