General League Info

Fall Indoor leagues use the no-pull, speedpoint format. There are no pulls between points; once the offence scores a point, the disc is placed in the endzone where it's caught, and the defence immediately takes possession. Rules regarding game play, substitutions, and more can be found on the TUC indoor rules page. Team captains must assist in enforcing the rules. Please abide by the Spirit of the Game when dealing with this (and any other game) issue.

NOTE ON 2026 FALL INDOOR SEASON PRICING: For the indoor 2026-2027 season, TUC has seen (on average) a 2.0% increase over our 2025-2026 indoor field rental fees across all our indoor facility vendors. As a non-profit, we have marginally increased our pricing to reflect the increase in our venue fees.

NOTE ON GENDER EQUITY: TUC is committed to advancing gender equity within our community to ensure Ultimate is a space for participants of ALL genders. Sport has traditionally operated with a gender binary framework - Co-ed divisions, Women's Divisions and Men's Divisions. We at TUC understand that gender is a spectrum, and we want participants of all genders to feel welcome and included. For clarity, TUC wants to remind all participants of the gender roster categories for our leagues for the Summer 2026 season:

  • Woman/Female Roster Designation (FMP) = Woman, Non-Binary and Two-Spirit: may include women (cis and trans), non-binary, and two-spirit players.
  • Open Roster Designation (OMP) = Open, Non-Binary and Two-Spirit: may include men (cis and trans), women (cis and trans), non-binary, and two-spirit players.

Policy on Late Timeslot Defaults

Teams that consistently default games scheduled in the late timeslots (10:00 PM and 11:00 PM) will be placed on a waitlist for the following season.  In addition, team captains may be subject to sanctions for repeated defaults that disrupt league operations.

For additional Registration Info, League Contacts or Playoff Notes, please see the Fall Leagues main page.

The Tuesday Mixed League is a 6-on-6 offering (minimum 2 of each gender) and will be open to Intermediate and Recreational teams. Registration is primarily by team, but we can accommodate up to 16 players on one HAT team.

NEW - Team Registration Lottery:

Due to popular demand, the Tuesday Mixed League @ Monarch Park has historically sold out within minutes under the first-come, first-served registration model. For Fall Indoor 2026, TUC is introducing a team registration lottery.

The goal of the lottery is to give all interested teams an equal opportunity to register for the league, rather than limiting access to captains who can step away from work or other commitments at the exact time registration opens.

How the Lottery Will Work:

  • Lottery registration will open on Tuesday, September 8th at 12 noon and remain open until Tuesday, September 15th at 10:00 pm. There is no advantage to registering earlier during this window.
  • Only one captain per team needs to register for the lottery.
  • No payment will be collected when entering the lottery.
  • TUC will conduct a pull-from-the-hat lottery draw on Wednesday, September 16th.
  • The first 15 teams drawn will receive team spots in the league. One additional spot is being held for the HAT team.
  • Teams will be notified of the lottery results on Thursday, September 17th. Successful teams will then be provided with instructions to complete registration and payment.
  • After the 15 team spots have been selected, the remaining teams will be placed on the waitlist in the order they are drawn.
  • Should the HAT team not form, its team spot will be offered to the first team on the lottery waitlist. Any other team spots that subsequently become available will also be offered based on lottery waitlist order.

Individual registration for the HAT team is not subject to the team lottery and will remain first-come, first-served.

NOTE: Please note that HAT teams run the risk of being cancelled if they do not have at least 9 open players and 5 female-identifying players registered fourteen (14) days before the league start date.  HAT team registrants will receive an email twenty-one (21) days before the league start to inform them of the current registration status of their HAT team.

Wednesday Parity Mixed HAT League @ Monarch Park

TUC’s most unpredictable and exciting league is back for its 27th season!

The best way to secure a spot for the Fall 2026 season is to register with a Female Matching player. Open players who register with a Female Matching player will be guaranteed* a spot in the league.

League Format: 6 on 6 parity

The Fall 2026 TUC Parity League will feature:

  • 6-on-6 indoor format
  • 3:3 gender ratio
  • Individual player statistics
  • Balanced team competition
  • A fantasy-style roster system

Each game will track player statistics, including goals, assists, and turnovers. Weekly game results and stats will determine player values. General Managers (GMs) will draft and trade players throughout the season while managing their rosters within league salary caps.

The result: more balanced games, new team dynamics, and impeccable vibes.

Registration

Due to the nature of the league, registration is completed individually and cannot accommodate co-player requests. If you want to play with someone throughout the season, you’ll need to become a GM and draft or trade for them. Details about the player draft, league theme, salary cap adjustments, and other updates will be announced before the October start date.

Open players

The Open player registration window opens at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, August 25th and closes at 5:00:00 PM on Sunday, August 30th.

During that time, Open players have two options:

  • Register with a Female Matching player during the registration window and receive a guaranteed* spot in the league. The Female Matching player must complete their own registration and payment by 5:00:00 PM on August 30th.
  • Register individually and enter the Open player lottery for available spots.

Traditionally, TPL receives more Open player registrations than available spots. Open players who do not register with a Female Matching player will be entered into the Open player lottery. Players not selected through the lottery will be placed on a waitlist.

Female Matching Players

  • Female Matching players who register with an Open player must complete their registration and payment by 10:00 AM on September 5 to secure the Open player’s guaranteed spot in the league.
  • Female Matching players who register without an Open player will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to available league spots.

All players, regardless of gender, are strongly encouraged to indicate their interest in becoming a GM when registering for the league.

League Spots

There are 140 total roster spots, 70 per gender.

Reserved spots include:

  • 2 conveners
  • 1 stat keeper/organizer
  • 5 Open spots reserved for players who have never participated in TPL
  • 5 Open spots for team GMs (Can indicate willingness on your registration)

Lottery and Payment

The registration lottery will take place on Monday, Aug 31st, 2026. Selected players will be announced by Tuesday, Sept 1st, 2026.

The league fee is $295 (including tax).

Entering the Open Lottery is free. If selected, open players will be asked to complete payment before they can officially secure their spot.

Weighted lottery details are below.

Good luck, everyone!

*In the event that we one day have more pairs register than spots available in the league, a lottery will take place to determine who is accepted.

Weighted Lottery Details: This season, open-matching players interested in joining the TPL will participate in a weighted lottery system. Each player’s name is automatically entered into the draw once. However, players can increase their chances by having their name entered up to a maximum of 10 times through the following activities or qualifications:

  • Were you a TUC convenor in the past two years (Summer 2024 through to Summer 2026)? If so, for every season convened, you receive one additional entry (max of 2 extra entries).
  • Have you been involved as a TUC Juniors Coach in the past two years (Fall 2024 through to Summer 2026)? If so, for every coaching experience, you receive two additional entries (max of 4 extra entries).
  • If you've never played TPL before, then be sure to select that in the questionnaire when you register to enter your name in the "new player" lottery!

Please note that starting in Winter 2027, TPL plans to remove the 3 above weighted lottery bonuses, to simplify the lottery process.

Spirit, Safety & Fields

Spirit of the Game is an integral part of Ultimate. In order to encourage teams to play with Spirit, we are requiring all teams to submit a Spirit score as well as a game score after each game. It is the responsibility of both team captains to submit a spirit score for the other team after every game.

In the interest of safety, the TUC strongly discourages games from taking place on grass fields during poor weather or on soggy fields. If the weather becomes severe during your game (i.e. thunderstorms), be sure to follow TUC's Bad Weather PolicyMetal cleats are not allowed under any circumstances. Plastic/rubber cleats are allowed at Monarch Park Stadium, Lamport Stadium, UCC, and Lakeshore Collegiate Dome, but NOT at the Downsview Hangar. Running shoes or turf shoes at the Hangar only, absolutely no cleats there! Foot blocks are not allowed except with the explicit prior agreement of both team captains. Any foot block, attempted or successful, should be treated as a foul.

Since field space is difficult to find, the TUC is always concerned about the possibility of losing currently permitted fields. Permits can be revoked if teams engage in prohibited activities or as the result of complaints from neighbourhood groups. Therefore, we remind everyone of the following policies:

  • The consumption of alcohol and recreational drugs is NOT allowed at the fields, whether before, during or after a game. If you wish to engage in such activities, please do so in the privacy of your own home.
  • Smoking Ban Bylaw: It is illegal to smoke tobacco within 9 meters of sports fields.
  • Use Spirit when dealing with other users of the parks. This means being polite to the people who inadvertently stray onto the field during your game. Also, bring the permit with you to your game to head off conflict with other users of the field.
  • Use common sense and be considerate of the neighbours. This means that you do not pee in the bushes, against the side of a house or in the middle of the field. Also, do not block driveways with your car.
  • If problems arise with fields, such as poor condition or conflict with other groups (e.g. soccer), please bring them to the attention of the league convenor and the fields coordinator. Do not take it upon yourself to solve the problem.
