Spring Tune-Up: Beginner Scrimmage 101 Clinic Wednesday, May 10th @ Monarch
We are pleased to introduce our clinic version of our popular Scrim 101 offering.
This Clinic is for adult beginner and recreational players looking to advance their skills and knowledge while playing scrimmage game with a coach's supervision.
This Clinic is designed to provide a positive learning environment, and is not intended for those looking for a primarily competitive scrimmage.
Who/Level: Beginner/Rec Players
Day: Wednesday, May 10th, 2023
Time: 7pm - 9pm
Location: Monarch Park Stadium
Cost: Pay what you can! (suggested contribution of $10 and registration is required).
Maximum number of individuals: 56 athletes (32 Open Identifying and 24 female-identifying)
Format: The tentative agenda is:
- Session will begin with a warm-up
- Then there will be a developmental drill
- Scrimmage and coaching
- Experienced coaches will be leading the session, and may call "teachable timeouts" during game play to quickly discuss strategy and technique
NOTE regarding "Pay what you can": To allow online payment functionality, we have had to put an arbitrary upper limit on the "pay what you can" amount, randomly selected as $50 (HST included). You will be able to enter any amount from $5 ($10 for Non-TUC Members) to $50, and it will show up as a "deposit" when you register and make payment. TUC will then manually adjust the payment status to "PAID" and note the registration as such.
