NEW: Tuesday Mixed @ Monarch Team Registration Lottery

If you’ve tried to register a team for Tuesday Mixed @ Monarch in previous seasons, you know how quickly the league can sell out — sometimes within minutes.

For Fall Indoor 2026, TUC is introducing a team registration lottery.

The goal of the lottery is to give all interested teams an equal opportunity to register for the league, rather than limiting access to captains who can step away from work or other commitments at the exact time registration opens.

How Will the Lottery Work?

  • Lottery registration opens Tuesday, September 8 at 12 noon and remains open until Tuesday, September 15 at 10:00 pm. There is no advantage to registering earlier during this window.
  • Only one captain per team needs to register for the lottery.
  • No payment will be collected when entering the lottery.
  • TUC will conduct a pull-from-the-hat lottery draw on Wednesday, September 16.
  • The first 15 teams drawn will receive team spots in the league. One additional spot is being held for the HAT team.
  • Teams will be notified of the lottery results on Thursday, September 17. Successful teams will then receive instructions to complete registration and payment.
  • Remaining teams will be placed on the waitlist in the order they are drawn.

Should the HAT team not form, its team spot will be offered to the first team on the lottery waitlist. Any other team spots that subsequently become available will also be offered based on lottery waitlist order.

Individual registration for the HAT team is not subject to the team lottery and will remain first-come, first-served.

One Team = One Lottery Entry

We’ve already received a good question from members: What stops the same team from having multiple captains or players enter the lottery?

TUC maintains historical team and roster information in Zuluru and will review lottery registrations for duplicate team entries.

If multiple players from the same previous team enter the lottery — even using different team names or different captains — TUC will consider those registrations to represent the same team and only one entry will be included in the lottery draw.

We recognize that team rosters can change from season to season and will use reasonable judgment when reviewing roster overlap.

The goal is simple: one team, one entry, one equal opportunity in the draw.

Thursday HAT League - We’re Back at Downsview!

We are excited to welcome TUC members back to Downsview for Fall Indoor 2026!

After several seasons away, our Thursday HAT League returns to the Downsview Dome, bringing TUC ultimate back to it's long-time home for our indoor programming.

Thursday HAT is an individual-registration league, so you don’t need to organize a team to play. Register individually and we’ll build the teams.

Thursday HAT registration opens Tuesday, September 8 at 2:00 pm.

Monday West — Lottery & Registration Information Coming Next Week

We recevied our venue contact earlier this week and with dates finalized, we are now able to advise thatWe know there is also significant interest in Monday West Fall Indoor, another league where demand has historically exceeded the number of available team spots.

For Fall Indoor 2026, Monday West will also use a team registration lottery.

Monday West registration will not open on September 8.

We will release the registration date, lottery window and complete details for Monday West next week.

Keep an eye on your inbox and TUC’s social channels for the Monday West announcement.

Get Involved This Fall — Volunteer with TUC!

Our leagues and programs are made possible by members of the TUC community who volunteer their time to help create great playing experiences for everyone.

As we prepare for Fall Outdoor and Fall Indoor, we are looking for volunteers to help in a variety of roles, including:

  • League Convenors — helping support our leagues and players throughout the season; and
  • Junior Coaches — helping our young athletes learn, develop and enjoy the game

Whether you’ve volunteered with TUC before or you’re looking for your first opportunity to get involved, we’d love to hear from you. There are opportunities for different levels of experience and commitment.

Volunteering is a great way to give back to the ultimate community, meet other TUC members, share your experience and help create the leagues and programs our members enjoy.

Interested in helping out this fall?

Email us at volunteers@tuc.org

Thank you to all of the volunteers who help make TUC possible. We couldn’t do it without you!
