Catch the Spirit 2026
TUC and BE Ultimate are pleased to announce that we will host the 19th annual Catch the Spirit Indoor High School Tournament at Monarch Park Stadium, with 16 teams competing on Tues February 24th, and 16 teams competing on Thurs Feb 26th.
Registration Details
- As this event has sold out in just a few minutes since 2020, this year we will be trialing a lottery registration system. Registration is open now, and will remain open until Thurs January 15th at NOON. For the Tues A Division, we will select the 8 most competitive teams (using a mix of 2025 results from Ultimate Canada High School Invitational, OFSAA, Catch the Spirit, and coach discussions). The other 24 spots will be determined by lottery.
- We aim to have an on-site physiotherapist/ first-aid person, and trophies and prizes will be awarded to the Tournament and Spirit champions.
- Please Note Payment will not be taken until the lottery is held, at which time we will email coaches with instructions to complete payment.
Tournament Format & Details
- Date: Tuesday February 24th and Thursday February 26th, as separate tournaments, 16 teams each day.
- Time: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- Location: Monarch Park Stadium
- Game Times: Between 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Format: 6-on-6 continuous play (speedpoint)

- Gender Ratio: 3:3 (Male: Female)
- Divisions: A Division & B Division (teams may be placed accordingly)
- Games: Minimum 4 x 35-minute games (up to 5 games if capacity allows)
